We prefer to work with clients that are socially and environmentally responsible. Planet Earth & Humankind are our most valuable clients and we must respect them.

We are more than filmmakers. We are content creators who deliver results. From identifying the brief, writing the story, producing, directing and ensuring it will engage the targeted audience through a well thought social media strategy.

Lucas is a 35-year-old Brazilian/Italian/Australian creative and film director.

PERSONAL LIFE

Born and raised in Sao Paulo, he lived there until the young age of 25. He then decided to pack up his things and move to Florence, Italy, where he learned all he could about art and the Italian way of life. His next life step took him to the beautiful and energetic Barcelona, where he lived happily for 4 amazing years. But once again, the itch for travel and discovery struck and he decided on Sydney as his next destination. After 6 magic years in Sydney he’s now travelling around the world enjoying life and making films.

He’s proud to say that outside of his creative pursuits, his next passion lies in helping other people. Whilst in Barcelona, he volunteered at an orphanage every single Sunday for two years (”one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life”) and he was also part of a clown group that would visit hospitals around Spain spreading smiles & happiness. In Sydney he has volunteered for the Starlight Children´s Foundation (at the Sydney Children’s Hospital) and at The Salvation Army. And while this might sound strange, he loves giving blood/plasma and currently, at this very moment, there are people dancing around with his blood in Brazil, Spain and Australia!

PROFESSIONAL LIFE

In the last 10 years Lucas has worked as a Creative and Film Director in 4 countries across 3 continents (Brazil, Italy, Spain and Australia). In that time he has won numerous pitches and more than 30 international awards, including 5 Cannes Lions (1 being a prestigious Creative Effectiveness Lion), Grand Prix at Spikes Asia, 2 golds at the NY Clio Awards, silver at the New York Festivals, 2 Effie Awards and he was chosen Creative of the Year by Argentinean magazine SoyDG, among many other accolades.

5 films in which he was involved either as a creative or director went viral, gathering millions of views around the world. His films were picked up by the most powerful press & blogs in more than 50 countries, including ABC News in New York, NHK TV channel in Japan, SBT TV channel in Brazil, The Huffington Post (number 1 most powerful blog in the world), BuzzFeed (number 2 most powerful blog in the world), The Australian & Herald Sun in Australia, Creative Review in UK, La Vanguardia in Spain and YouTube Trends, just to mention a few.

Martin brown (producer of ‘Romeo & Juliet’ and ‘Moulin Rouge’) described Rene’s direction as “altruistic and characterised by realism, movement and strong aesthetics. His writing is about the minutiae – delicate moments that provide a window into the internal worlds of a character.”

The short films written and directed by Rene have screened in more than 100 international film festivals with numerous awards. These include a shortlist for the Academy Awards (live action shortfilm), AFI award, Clermont-Ferrand prize, Tropfest, Dendy Awards and Flickerfest to name a very few.
